Issue 19: From Flowchart to Figma in One Session
I gave Claude Code a FigJam diagram and a prompt. Here's what came out.

I spent some time last week running an experiment I’ve been wanting to try for a while — and the results were surprising enough that I wanted to write it up properly.
The setup: a FigJam board with a user flow diagram for a car rental app. Nothing fancy — shapes, labels, connectors. Four main screens mapped out in the kind of rough-but-clear way we all sketch flows before we actually design anything.
I wanted to challenge Claude Code to read that diagram and generate the Figma screens directly from it.
Here’s how it worked out and what actually happened.
Connect Claude Code to Figma
I authenticated Claude Code with the Figma MCP server using the /mcp command. This gave Claude direct access to read and write inside Figma files (as per recent updates from Figma, agents are now have access to the canvas).
